Amy has been a school governor for 14 years, including serving as Chair of Governors at Swaffham Bulbeck Primary School, founding Trustee of the University of Cambridge Primary School, and now Vice-Chair of the Eastern Learning Alliance and Link Trustee for the Cambridge Mathematics School. She was a National Leader of Governance for four years, supporting schools in challenging circumstances.
Alongside her governance work, Amy co-founded STNC, the first company in the world to put web browsers onto mobile phones, later acquired by Microsoft. She was a non-executive director at Audio Analytic, a global leader in AI sound recognition, until its acquisition by Meta.
She now runs the i-Teams programme at the University of Cambridge, which has led to the creation of more than 120 start-ups, and also serves as Co-Chair of Cambridge Angels and Trustee of the Cambridge Science Centre.
Amy studied Mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge.
